As we start to navigate our way back into the office environment, it's important for us to reflect on the last 2 years and how our world at work has changed during the pandemic.
Since the pandemic we have spent a lot of time working from home, connecting to work colleagues and our customers via video conferences and spending additional time on the phone. probably more than we ever did in the past.
Connecting with our colleagues, customers, shareholders is more important than ever now! Over the last months, I personally have started the journey of Business Travel with the attitude of a post pandemic environment.
To navigate the new world of Business Travel its important to ensure your organisation has policies in place to ensure the safety of your staff. For example advice given on the travel destinations that detail; restrictions, antigen or PCR test requirements, quarantine measures if still applicable. It's important not assume the same measures in one destination or place of work are the same as another.
Some key items to consider in your Employees Handbook;
Tele working
Domestic and international travel
Working from home
Privacy, viewing or hearing confidential information
Safety of team members onsite or offsite company premises
Let's celebrate, as we navigate back into the world of meeting one and other face to face and reconnecting. I'm defiantly looking forward to the next year and what's to come!
